Cecil Creek Farm - South Jersey Summer Wedding

CECIL CREEK FARM WEDDING
MICKLETON, NEW JERSEY
SOUTH JERSEY FARM + GARDEN WEDDING VENUE
Cecil Creek Farm is located in Mickleton, New Jersey and offers the PERFECT location for laid-back beautiful weddings. They offer catering and bartending from their fantastic staff. Wedding menus are typically a farm to table vibe, but I’ve seen couple customize dinner and dessert menus to fit their personalities and family traditions. From early spring through the fall, their wildflower field is blooming - many couples opt to make their day easy and use these flowers for their centerpieces and reception decor. The ceremony takes place in another field, alongside horses and a pond. We didn’t need it on this day, but there is greenhouse situated next to the modern reception barn, which is the perfect backup location for ceremonies and portraits if it happens to rain. I love when venues are able to offer thoughtful locations that don’t feel like just a back-up plan. I’m at Cecil Creek Farm for weddings a few times a year, and I often hear guests complimenting the couples on how relaxed, fun, and heartfelt their wedding day is at Cecil Creek.

First up - Shannon and her bridesmaids
The girls got ready in the bridal suite at Cecil Creek Farm. Shannon’s sister Morgan was the stylist for all of the beautiful wedding day hair, and it was so fun to see everyone (Shannon included) get involved in the hair and makeup touch-ups.
Back at their house, Ryan got ready…
FIRST LOOK!
Ryan wrote Shannon a letter that brought out the emotions during their first look. After a few quiet moments, they went over to feed the horses (always so fun!) and then their wedding party and families joined us for portraits.
Ceremony - Let’s do the dang thing!
We took a few portraits in the field following their ceremony, as guests were transported on the tractor to cocktail hour in the market.
All of the details came together, creating a beautiful warm reception space. Cecil Creek Farm has long, wooden farm tables and lots of curated rustic decor to make planning and decorating the space super easy and also easily customizable.
After speeches, we popped outside for a few golden hour portraits - then, right back to the PARTY!
