historic philadelphia wedding venue
Glen Foerd is a historic mansion, set amid eighteen acres of rare trees and flowering shrubs. The grounds include a formal rose garden and riverfront oaks that date back over 300 years - the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony, along the Delaware River in Philadelphia. Receptions take place inside of their Riverfront Pavilion, a beautiful indoor/outdoor space alongside the mansion.
One of my favorite parts of this venue is the mansion interior. The beautiful wooden details, fireplaces, a grand staircase, museum gallery room, and porches provide so much variety and character for intimate portraits. They also have the prettiest getting ready space - a suite with incredible natural light that overlooks the grounds and water.
This venue has an exclusive catering partnership with Jamie Hollander Catering and Events. My clients have raved about both the planning experience and food from their team (and from a vendor point of view - I agree!).
their vibrant spring day
Lauren and Ben are true gems. They both have contagious, whole-face laughs that were sprinkled between big hugs, hand squeezes, tearful glances, and wild dance moves all day long. There is an indescribable ease to their relationship and it carried over to their wedding day. Every detail of their day felt personal and intentional. It was an absolute honor to be there and document this celebration of their love, alongside all of their closest people.

One of my favorite details can’t be seen in the images below, but hopefully you feel it in all of the emotion. They entered and exited their ceremony to songs by Maggie Rogers (iykyk!). A few months later, I got to hug Ben and Lauren at Maggie’s concert in Philly - which was almost as good as this day. It’s a long scroll - from pretty details to tearful vows, and waterfront portraits to funky dance moves. Enjoy!
